Several players from the Mohawk Valley Table Tennis Club attended
Rchard DeVenezia and Bruce Holck traveled to Dunellen, NJ to play at the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center in the May club open. On the way to Dunellen we also stopped in to visit club friend Steve Waltman. Read more for some pictures.
MVTTC members Bruce, Richard, Brian and Zach travelled to South Otselic to play at an event at the First Baptist Church. Friends of the club Tom, Dio, Bill, Paul and Dave also attended. Team Brian and Dio placed first in the group A doubles. In singles Bruce Holck took first place and Brian Tripp second. The ride to South Otselic can be interesting without a map, cell or 3g service!
Seven members of the Mohawk Valley Table Tennis Club (MVTTC) competed at the 2-star USATT sanctioned "2011 Rochester New York Open
Giant Round Robin" tournament held on Feb 26-27. MVTTC showed great depth of play by winning or placing second in five different events and brought home seven trophies. Go MVTTC! Read more for results and photo.
MVTTC held a youth tournament on February 5, 2011. 10 players braved the snow to compete in two events. The club welcomed players from Chenango Valley TTC and Binghamton TTC.

Club members Michael Haddad, Bruce Holck, Brian Tripp and Gary Stottlar competed at the 11th Annual Holiday Classic 2 Player Team and Top Singles tournament held by the Allentown/Lehigh Valley area Table Tennis Club (ALVaTTC) on January 16, 2011. A huge snowstorm and slippery conditions could not deter these devoted players. Michael, Brian and Gary ended the day with increased ratings. MVTTC member Brian Tripp placed second in his division and Zach Mashaw placed third in the same.
Brian Tripp and Zach Mashaw traveled to Westfield, NJ to participate in the NJTTC 2010 September Open.
Zach played very well and took 1st place in the Under 850 division.
